Many companies use NetSuite as their ERP but often seek more efficient ways to consolidate and analyze their data. That was the goal for Conetic Group — and we addressed it through a joint effort between Where2Retail and B2F – Business To Future, integrating NetSuite with Azure to deliver a custom, high-performance Data Warehouse.
🚩 The Challenge
Conetic Group needed to:
- Centralize transactional data in a single location.
- Automate data extraction and reporting processes.
- Deliver faster, more reliable insights for decision-making across the organization.
🎯 The Goal
To develop a streamlined integration between NetSuite and Azure that:
- Automatically extracts and transforms business-critical data using a Python script.
- Makes the data available on a cloud Data Warehouse readily usable in BI tools like Power BI.
- Reduces the need for internal teams to manually process ERP tables.
🧱 The Solution
The solution, built collaboratively by Where2Retail and B2F, was based on:
- SuiteQL combined with a custom Restlet to extract and process data directly from NetSuite.
- An Azure Function is used to orchestrate, extract, and transform data from the NetSuite API in an automated and scalable way.
- An Azure SQL Database that stores clean, structured datasets — including records of deleted transactions, execution logs, and all the parameters required to ensure stable authentication within the Python script.
