This time, the challenge came from Bial — one of the most prestigious Portuguese pharmaceutical companies — with whom we have been collaborating on a solution for the area of Continuous Improvement.
The Challenge
Bial was looking for a more agile and effective way to manage the process of submission, evaluation, and approval of ideas from its employees. The previous model was time-consuming, not very centralized, and required multiple manual interventions — particularly in the validation and calculation of the scores associated with each idea.
The Solution
By leveraging PowerApps, we developed a customized and intuitive application, focused on:
- Facilitating the submission of ideas by employees;
- Automating the approval workflow, with phase-based validations and designated approvers;
- Automatically calculating the scores, reducing time and eliminating manual errors;
- Providing dashboards and reports, to monitor progress and results.
All of this with an accessible interface, compatible with both desktop and mobile devices.
